Great condition
Bearing in mind i played here after the recent wet weather followed by snow & ice there were no temporary greens or tees nor were the greens patchy. Very good condition and look forward to playing on a hot summers day where i am sure the subtle borrows and speed of the greens will make for an interesting round.Reviewer Rating

Top track, best parkland in NW
Played back in August, I believe just after the Welsh Team Championships. It was in fantastic condition, excellent fast true greens. It’s quite challenging, but the first 9 are the scoring holes. Second 9 are much harder, 13,14,15,16 are tough and really test your game. Clubhouse is quite nice, bar & restaurant staff are nice and welcoming. Good food and decent price for a very good set-up. Excellent course to play
Whole layout was fantastic and will definitely go back again when next in the area. Greens were immaculate and the layout was challenging but certainly tough enough.(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 84 Handicap: 17.4)

At first the course gives an impression of lots of trees but as you play it and whilst there are plenty of trees the fairways are fairly forgiving so as a high handicapper I found this course good to play, the greens were lush and fast. It is very well maintained and flat. The people we met were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely would play again

Exceeded my expectations, well designed parkland course providing a different challenge on each hole. Long in places. mostly flat with the odd water hazard. Just went off before a society so timing was good, the staff were a making attempts to keep play at a decent pace behind us which is also pleasing to see. Loved the home made pie at the café bar between 9 and 10!!

I've played this course with friends in four Seniors Open Competitions and none of us will ever get fed up of playing it. The course layout is excellent with each hole presenting its own challenge. It is always in good condition and the greens are true. The members are friendly, the club house is welcoming and the catering is first class. Being served by staff with smiling faces always adds to the joy of the visit. Highly recommended.

Great course and club.

Played this course 4 times this year and just gets more enjoyable every time you play it, even in pouring rain. Always found it in first class condition with every hole presenting a different challenge. Members and staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and food and drinks are excellent. Can\'t wait for next years senior opens so we can play it again.

...This course is a good challenge for all abilities. Very well laid out holes.
Greens were undulating, same pace and true which is remarkable and drainage is brilliant considering the inclemant weather so well done to the greens staff.
Good positioning of bunkers and hazards, fairways well designed and clear markers regarding distances both on the fairway and parallel trees.
Clubhouse is very welcoming in that I felt at home not a visitor, Staff are brilliant and very helpful including the Pro shop.
as you wind your way round you also get some great views towards snowdonia.
