What the club says: Radcliffe-on-Trent Golf Club lies just outside the village and has great views over the Vale of Belvoir and the castle itself on the horizon. It is a challenging England Golf Championship venue course with tight tree-lined fairways requiring accuracy off the tee and is a good test for all abilities. The final 3 holes are a stiff challenge to end anyone's round.
In the clubhouse we offer a very warm welcome, 3 real ales and excellent catering from a full English breakfast to our fantastic Sunday Lunch offering.

Golf trip
We visited during a weekend break to Nottingham. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the price very reasonable and the course and greens in excellent condition. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend a game hereReviewer Rating

Overall good experience
This was my first visit to this course and I was very impressed with its greens and wide open fairways. Was a little surprised however with a 20p charge for a scoring pencil. Played all over the world..never seen that. Would of thought 45 pounds greens fee would have covered it..oh well.Reviewer Rating

Course for this time of year was good, greens were as good as anywhere for April and will be a lot smoother when vert-cut. Fairways were a little patchy however pick and place was in operation.Reviewer Rating

From the minute we arrived we were made very welcome particularly Dawn and Stan.
Our 4 ball enjoyed the course so much so we played the 14th twice.
Once by mistake after the 8th and then in the right order following the 13th.
Our fault but a good test of golf.
We will recommend and hopefully return.

played here at 2:20pm on Friday 1/8/24 and it was a really good experience from start to finish. The pro shop was very friendly in both making the booking for us and looking after us when we arrived.
The course was very scenic and in wonderful condition. Not a difficult course but definitely worth a visit.

Little Gem in Nottinghamshire
Lovely, well presented little course. Very friendly and well looked after. We went on a medal day so the greens were fast and everything was in great nick!Decent value for this little spot! Would definitely recommend!

An absolute gem of a course
An absolute gem of a course in lovely surrounds with fantastic views. Very mature trees line the fairways but are forgiving if you stray. The greens were responsive, quick and in very good condition. A decent sized shop and practice facilities. The clubhouse and changing rooms are very roomy and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the catering on the day was top notch. Lovely course

A very nice course, however the Members do not welcome or interact well with visitors. Clearly they feel that Golf should be endured not enjoyed, have never seen behaviour like it.

Brilliant day
Five of us played this yesterday . Friendly and helpful in the Pro Shop .Greens had recently been spiked but didnt affect the speed or roll.
17th par 3 over water is a nice challenge .
And the sunday carvery smells soooooooo good in the clubhouse !!!

Even though we had so much rain in the previous two weeks, the cores was in great condition. Great tees and fast greens. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Good value food and drink in the clubhouse.

Course played as well as can be expected after the greens receiving 'Winter care"
Hollow tined spiking that had been in-filled with sand made them firm and putting a challenge. The effort put in know will no doubt benefit members in the Spring !

Took over 30 golfers to Radcliffe on Trent Golf Club through The Four Bells Golf Society, Woodborough, Nottinghamshire. Excellent customer service and communication before the day and we found the course to be in absolutely superb condition and a good test for a society with players of varying handicaps. Fairways were well cut, bunkers had quality sand in them and the greens were the star of the show being fast and very true. The staff really looked after us on the day and I would thoroughly recommend a visit especially for golf societies.
