The course was excellent and in good condition. It's a picturesque parkland style course and if you can draw the ball a little then that will help. You never get the feeling that you're just going up and down th course and you'll probably have to use every club in your bag.
The only downside was the unwelcoming and less than helpful gentlemen behind the counter in the pro shop but don't be put off my him, it's a lovely course and everyone else we spoke to was very friendly.

My second time at this Club and the Sun was shining on this well manicured course. Staff both helpful and efficient.

played this on saturday 4th july 2009, in the invitaional open, played with amember as a 2 man team off the white teess, a very challenging course, but very enjoyable, some tough holes. enjoyed the3rd hole blind dogleg club house is excellent, and enjoyed chicken curry chips and rice and apple crumble, all for 7.50

Greens were great but the rough is just too long in places. It is unfairly punishing as it is not like wispy rough of links but thick, lush grass and if you manage to find your ball even a few inches off the fairway there is literally no shot to be had. Really needs cutting down as it is basically unplayable in places.

Poor Prenton
The website shows a very interesting and challenging golf course . When I booked back in March I asked do you play of full T's & greens YES was the reply As a golf society we have played winter golf for the last five years trying to find courses that don't automatically go on (temps), What a disappointment when we arrived to find that every T was a temp. I was misled from the very start of my contact with the club, some of our guys hadn't finished their round and they shut the clubhouse leaving nowhere to get changed or have a beer.
