1st class, best course i have played. Perfect blend of links and parkland. Happy it was 9 links and 9 parkland because if you haven't played links before this course is the perfect introduction to links. Club house and food is excellent and you are made to feel very very welcome. Its on our golf calender for every year now.

Fantastic course, its part parkland and part links golf but they can be alternate holes not front parkland and back links! Great in the wind hitting 170 yard drives one holes then 360 yards the next hole. Some brilliant blind shots into greens that are brilliant. this course is one of the best i have played and i am going back in 2012!

Went for the 36 hole over night stay with meals included for a price of £85 ,excellent value ,meals were great, the course was well maintained, but busy,on the second day.bieng a part links/parkland course.found the course challanging and fun very windy of the coast line when you were playing in land.but a good straight drive and you were reaching the greens .some good scores and some bad scores ,but enjoyed the 2 days ,would recomend to anyone

A great mix of links and parkland with some very interesting holes. I hiden gem - never thought I would find such a course in Skeg Vegas. Hotel is very tidy and the bar is welcoming with a good mix of golfers and non golfers. Good food in the restaurant but lacking a wine choice. Got a fantastic deal for £99 B,B&D + 2 rounds. Special mention for the course marshall who got us out early both days when it was clear there was space and we were hanging around - hope to return soon.

Great shaped course, very challenging and semi links. Very friendly pro shop very reasonable green fees . Would like to play again when the weather is drier but the course holds up pretty well. A very nice experience

Proves a course doesn't need to be 7000 yards. You have to think your way around.

We got very lucky with the weather, calm and still with a bit of sunshine thrown in. Arrived early and sampled a brilliant Lincolnshire sausage & egg roll. Course conditions were slightly soft underfoot but not soft enough to leave your footwear as if you?d been on a hiking adventure. The parkland holes were softer than the links (standard)
On the course all but the par 3?s were played off tee boxes. It was nice to bunkers with sand in. All the greens were consistent for pace. A real nice experience. The only criticism would be, there isn't an area to loosen up (driving net) prior to the first tee shot

Worth a visit

worth a visit for the golf. Hotel itself is very dated. Needs some money spending on the rooms. 1 member of staff needs to be trained in customer service
