The course had 6 temporary greens which is probably expected in February, the greens that were playable not the best but it is winter.

Challenging and fair
Surprisingly good condition for the time of year and after the heavy rain. Very few wet areas and bunkers were all very good. Only drawback was how busy it was for a Misty cold Monday morning - waiting for every shot and on every teeReviewer Rating

Meh
I have played here a few times but this time it was absolutely appalling. We were behind a society so expected it to take a while but nearly 4 and a half hours later we finished. Slow play is an understatement. The fairway was mostly dead so hitting it was like playing out of a bunker each time. The greens are why I give it one out of ten!Reviewer Rating

Lovely Municipal Course
We played here straight after courses became available post COVID lockdown and I am glad we did. It was one of the only courses allowing visitors and for ?20 its a bargain. Lovely greens, really friendly and helpful staff and some proper holes on it. I have played it three times since then and still have three holes I can't seem to conquer. Would certainly return when golf is back to normal and enjoy it again.Reviewer Rating

One of the best layed out courses in Lincolnshire, and a lovely setting for golf. It offers fantastic value for money and accepts green fee payers seven days a week. Well worth a visit.

Needs some attention
This is a cheap council owned course, but it would not take too much care and attention to make it much better. Most of the bunkers had no sand in and some of the greens had been mown bare.(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 103 Handicap: 19.3)

Public and closing soon
You can see that this course has had better days. The story is tha as a public , council can't maintain and not enough members to buy it and keep it going. Some really nice holes but tee unkept with lots of divots and though there is evidence of recently installed drains, certain greens can be seen to have been waterlogged. A bit of money would restore but that is unlikely. Shame as the holes were a good mix and the sourroundings v good.(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 98 Handicap: 14.7)
