Currently, this golf course is in our standing condition and there is not one area of the golf course that is poor. I am a member here and felt like leaving a year ago but as the club said to all the member they are getting a new green keeper and going to invest some money in 2015 , I thought give it one more year and see if they keep there promises and now a year later I am extremely proud to be a member here

Greens were excellent and pretty fast, and the course very well kept. Fairways quite dry even after the recent rain so the ball was running on quite a way, adding at least 20 yards to my normal drive length.

Challenging golf course with tight fairways and small greens this golf course suits the more precise golfer, with the course in excellent condition at the moment with nicely cut fairways and smooth rolling greens, the staff treat customer service as a top priority except one assistant pro who may have anger issues and the food there is also fantastic!

Now my local course, it is very well kept and always (so far) dry, with greens extremely fast and drives tending to run on as any rainwater tends to disappear quickly. There are a mixture of woodland and wide open fairways, with the back nine crossing small but well used roads in many cases and the 14th to 18th holes in very close proximity to the A134, the main Sudbury to Colchester road.

flat tidy course that suits all levels of golfers.some of the stroke indexs need looking at,the 14th white tee is far more harder fairway to hit than the stroke index 2 on the 8th!but all round a great course to play.
