Its demanding layout and rich heritage draws golfers from all over Europe, featuring verdant, tree lined fairways and well kept greens. From the 244 yard opening par 3, where the drive is over a valley to a small green cut into a hill, to the highly acclaimed par 5 14th hole, golfers are confronted with numerous and memorable challenges. 5,540 yards Par 69.

Undulating Course
Close to the centre of Bournemouth this par 69 is in a good location for the holiday golfer. Its greens are in very good condition and the fairways are recovering after the very hot summer we have experienced in the area. There are some really interesting holes on this course so don’t be put off by the Par.

A real golfing challenge
After much recent rain this course played better than my previous visits in summer.Other than the greens it is a bit rough round the edges but is still a very memorable and challenging course with some fantastic golf holes.
Food and hospitality were good.

Midweek afternoon two ball
First off important to say I changed tee time twice due to weather and personal circumstances. You can't do it online so dealt with them directly, very accommodating, easy sorted.Value for money for sure, tee boxes and greens are excellent but the fairways are bare, not easy to maintain given the summer we've had and tbh no worse than courses you'd pay double or more for. They've tried to therefore pay attention to greens ehixh are as decent as anywhere and better than most.
Course itself is good as a challenge.

Great greens. Non existent fairways. Shit bunkers.
Having cut my teeth as a youngster on this course, I was so looking forward to playing it once again after a recent 5 year hiatus from golf. As usual, the greens were in good shape. As we're the fringes. Other than that, what a massive disappointment! Appreciate it's been dry, but the fairways were non existent. A couple of greenside bunkers were OK, the rest had a lack of sand and an abundance of stones. For £53, including a bacon roll and coffee, there must be better courses locally to play!Reviewer Rating

Great course
Nice and convenient to get to on foot for those staying in local hotels in Bournemouth. Was easy to book online and greens were excellent. Many interesting holes especially the par 3s and also the longer 14th hole was a beauty. Pro was very friendly and made me feel very welcome. Would recommend a visit here for those staying in the areaReviewer Rating

There are dog walkers but most are considerate. Beautifully maintained greens... Take extra golfballs.
