What the club says: Our resort features two 18-hole golf courses that challenge and cater for all standards. The Championship East Course (par 73, 6,684 yards) was designed by James Braid to Championship standards while the shorter Resort West Course (par 68, 5,051 yards) is also a good challenge with smaller greens and tight fairways.
Both courses afford stunning views across the region, where you can see as far as the Forth Bridges and over to Edinburgh Castle. We really are a truly unique golf resort, just seven miles from Edinburgh’s city centre.

two solid courses together.

Dalmahoy experience
Greens improving, speed slowly coming back but rough in tree areas very long, lost ball most times now

two solid courses together.
spoilt for choice here with two courses.West course the shorter but a couple of tricky holes par 3's. East course longer and slightly more challenging

Great course
Cracking day out, played as part of the golf show 2 for 1. If I lived closer I'd join in a heart beat!(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 69 Handicap: )

Great Championship Venue
What does your usual golf visit look like? Perhaps quiet and solitary....not at Dalmahoy when the weather is good. From the first tee you see real people and characters milling around, groups of kids being coached, early finishers having a drink by the final green. You feel welcomed, you feel human.....there are not endless groups of subdued loners quietly heading out or rowdy lads throwing etiquette to the wind, it is a nice middle space...in this player's view. Players respect your space, but are not afraid to speak. The rest of the facilities make this possible, but the East course has many good holes to enjoy and challenge your game. Ground was in good condition, although some greens were a little short of their best competition conditions. Greens are firm and reasonably fast without being set too hard. Greens and tees grouped in areas mean you see others in the passing and while holes 2-7 are fairly plain before the undulating 8th, blind tee and slow dogleg right of 9 offer a start to greater imagination in the course and scoring chances. This culminates with the main tests at 13 and 14 set in an intimate silver birch coppice mixed with streams, ponds and lush grasses. The finishing 18th is a quirky and distinctive finish hole.

2 Fantastic Courses set in a Country Club environment

Long but glorious
The course was I. Good condition, just wish my golf had been in similar condition. Fairways were well cut and the greens consistent and true.

Great course
Very well laid out course with a tricky back nine which tested my ability. Well worth a visit if travelling to Scotland.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 106 Handicap: 26)

Fair
After heavy rain the course was in fair condition, muddy in some areas.people are friendly and welcoming, good food and drink facilities.
(Round played: Oct 2018 - Score: 111 Handicap: 24.3)

Good setup
Two OK courses, back 9 of the big course is decent.

Beautiful location
Dalmahoy is a superb location. We had a 3 day golfing holiday and thoroughly enjoyed the golf and the venue. The west course is fantastic and has some challenging holes. A memorable golf break!(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 102 Handicap: 23.9)

Great
Great day, great weather and a great setup of a golf course. Short in length but still very challenging if you get out of position.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 81 Handicap: 12.1)

Nice course
Very enjoyable course, friendly staff but just a bit below the standard of the best we have experiences in scotland(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 95 Handicap: 13)
