What the club says: The course was initially laid out by Willie Park Jnr., a two-times Open Champion, and later reconstructed by James Braid. As a result Baberton is a challenging and beautiful layout on undulating terrain

Golf Course Reviews for Baberton Golf Club
Wonderful James Braid course with fantastic views of the Castle and the 3 Forth bridges that complement the layout of the course.
(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 89 Handicap: 14.9)
(Round played: Feb 2017 - Score: 92 Handicap: 18.6). Ground undergoing major change and holes re-ordered. A friendly club and good support from members. A couple of winter greens, to be expected in February.
(Round played: Jun 2016 - Score: 85 Handicap: 18)
A long course with some blind holes, would benefit from playing the course again now I know it, some challenging holes but is forgiving through most of it off the tee
(Round played: Jan 2017 - Score: 88 Handicap: 17.5)
