Two very different loops of 9. No par 5's on this course but it still a very testing 18 holes.

A short but tricky course, in excellent condition.Our Society was welcomed by the President as they had re-arranged the Presidents day due to bad weather the previous week. However, this was not allowed to interfere with our pre-booked tee times, and we were made very welcome by all.

super friendly professional/assistant/members &catering/bar staff impeccable
much prefer the varied back nine-front nine holes a bit repetetive in line & length
stroke index 1 hole a unique/interesting/challenging experience unless low handicapper.would love to play the course again with drier fairways

Very pleasant characterful course. Play your way in on the comparatively open front nine, then feel challenged on the back nine, where fairways are bordered by thick woods throughout. Kept in lovely condition with nicely subtle greens. It would be good to see a par 5 hole. The clubhouse is well appointed with pleasant service and excellent views of the course. Much recommended for an interesting round of golf

Great course. Really enjoyable. No real need to drive with driver if you want to sharpen your iron usage and still get to the hole in two, so great for practise and confidence building if you are struggling or not getting on with your driver. Nice walk, nice environment, and well kept course makes for a great few hours of golf. Would reccomend to addd to your 'to do' golf lists. Jaime

A course of 2 halves. Quite an open front 9 where you will get away with being slightly wayward. If you want to be wayward on the back 9, think again! Tree-lined all the way with some challenging holes and small greens. Course was in immacualte condition and the greens were true and challenging. I recommend a visit here - if you can find it!

Society round wet in places especially on back nine. Does not drain well.
Pleasant course but no par 5's at present so it lacks a bit of variety.

Nice course, although a few overlapping holes esp. on first 9. Very busy for a weekday, so quite popular. Good halfway facilities, refreshment hut, well stocked, good service. Some friendly members, but found some a bit 'snooty' and stand-offish.

Played here in March 17. Heard it was a great course and to be fair in Summer it will be a cracking track. However at this moment in time its not so great, Grass is very long in places and very muddy in others. Cannot slate it as the terrible weather lately makes this a difficult task. However at least cut round the greens to form some form of fringe. Some great holes and enjoyed it immensely but please put a little TLC into it.
