Good value
The heatwave has scorched the grass like it has everywhere but greens we're very spongey albeit fairly slow but overall it's a good round of golf. The 10th hole is ridiculous built on what is basically a 45 degree slope but I enjoy the course as a few holes have to played very carefully or you're in for a messReviewer Rating

Lovely course.......
One of my favourite courses in the area. Lots of interesting holes and fairly flat for those that don't like hills. Sadly like many courses in the area the greens have suffered due to a really went winter and were punched in early May. They have recovered quite a lot but were still bumpy in places. Good value for ?20 on a Sunday afternoon (although the tee booking website says ?18)Reviewer Rating

Very friendly club and inviting course spoils only by the greens which were very bumpy and sandy. Bunkers also lacked sand.

Lovely
Very nice course, even though it (like many) had suffered from the wet weather. Greens in very good condition, most fairways were fine where it mattered.(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 98 Handicap: )

Held up very well despite the weather. Greens were good for the time of year. Only slight diapointment were the tee mats on the yellow tee's, quite a few were worn and had very little grip so the whole group had issues at times with tee shots and feet slipping.

Enjoyable round at Horsforth. Course in good condition despite recent wet weather. Members drove up swiftly in buggy after completing 16th hole to overtake us, which we though was strange playing at a good pace. 2 drives later 1 in the woods left, the other in the woods right! We got waved through.

Nice course, worth playing
First time here and enjoyed it. Friendly welcome in clubhouse, good food. Course in good condition given recent wet weather. Greens true but tricky to read. Need to be straight off the tee to score well. Will return for sure to better this score.(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 86 Handicap: 6.2)

Firm & fast
I've played Horsforth a handful of times. Always found pro shop/staff very welcoming. The course is not overlong and has many holes where accuracy of the tee is not crucial. We will definitely return.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 90 Handicap: 19.5)
