Great course we were really enjoying our round until confronted by an aggressive member that looked like an uglier version of Collins McGommery. Told we were playing too slow and in no uncertain terms to speed up. At this stage we were 2:25 and finishing the 10th not fast but not what I would describe as slow play either. Finished the round in 4 hours 10 perfectly acceptable where I come from

The guy we encountered was everything you gate about golf snooty members resenting paying players that are keeping there club going

Don't bother with this course if you're out for a casual Sunday round they don't want you there but are happy to take your money

We won't be going back

Good value

The heatwave has scorched the grass like it has everywhere but greens we're very spongey albeit fairly slow but overall it's a good round of golf. The 10th hole is ridiculous built on what is basically a 45 degree slope but I enjoy the course as a few holes have to played very carefully or you're in for a mess

Enjoyable round at Horsforth. Course in good condition despite recent wet weather. Members drove up swiftly in buggy after completing 16th hole to overtake us, which we though was strange playing at a good pace. 2 drives later 1 in the woods left, the other in the woods right! We got waved through.

£50 for 4. Course was very boggy in places. Excellent value though. Gentlemen from the pro shop was abrupt when serving us and could have certainly made us (non members) feel more welcome.

Course in good condition, some fairways excellent, and treatment work to improve others was ongoing. Love the plane spotting as you play next to Leeds / Bradford airport.

Nice traditional clubhouse with great post round menu.

Interesting course especially for aeroplane geeks. A duck hook off the 14th tee could very possibly bring a plane down! I was really disappointed with the green keeping staff. I realise they get priority on the course but the one in the tractor who followed us around the turn was ridiculous. Completely ignored the fact we were there. In the end I am sure he was doing it just to rile us.

My local course. Played at 2.20pm which wasn't ideal but earliest available. Course in reasonable condition after wet weather. Greens disappointing however. Though for £15 it is good value and will play again.
