Gem of a course , fantastic value

Fantastic course,greens quick and true ,lovely layout with some cracking holes , 4 / 13 one of the best par 3s we have played , tough driving holes on 3 and 7 which certainly test your aim , not as easy as the scorecard gives the impression of . Really helpful staff in the pro shop and a fantastic little club house , where we all had a nice meal afterwards , there was a really nice atmosphere in the club house also with plenty of members in there , I see that it is only £395 for first year of membership which seems a very good deal .

Love this course. Like a secret garden from hole 4 onwards. Very picturesque and a friendly clubhouse. Very good facilities all round. I am not local but always ensure I play this course when nearby.

Lovely little quirky 9 hole in lovely countryside. Felt as if we were at Sunningdale on a few holes. Ground seems to be solid in Spring weather. Well worth playing if local. Very long 3rd hole though where you need to hit the ball long, almost at the road/ netting needed!

Possibly one of the best pound for pound courses I have played, a ridiculously cheap green fee!
The course has spectacular views and picturesque holes. Certainly my favourite 9 hole course, with 2 sets of tees to make 18 holes.
The maintenance of the course is to a high standard too.

Great location

First outing out since I bagged the Vilamoura trophy and I enjoyed it. Very hot and quite hilly in places, the course was in good condition though. I got a great birdie on the 4th ' The Hammerwood' and wont forget that. The course was founded in 1893 and is still going strong.

Great course

Great course with some challenging holes. 4th hole par 3 is a lovely hole. A lot of rain over the past few days by the greens and fairways were in great condition.
Also the club shop is very well stocked.

Great 9 hole course - worth visiting

Had a good round. The greens were in excellent condition. Had a 9 hole round, very easy to book and very helpful in the Pro shop.
