Played the course many times and it was in excellent condition today, fairways closely cut, first cut of rough was fair and the greens were very fast. Good value and one of the best local courses. The only disappointment is the clubhouse and as it is a Hilton it is even more disappointing. Poor service today, took 20 minutes to provide 3 Henry?s and our food arrived before the drinks. Food never very hot as it has to come across the courtyard and obviously cools on the way. Will always play here though as the course is great

A good and fair test
Proper golf course and a clever layout. Loads of bunkers but some definitely need more sand in them! Greens ok (and all huge) but clear that society’s and hotel guests don’t repair pitch marks! Some really long par 4’s and the stroke indexes don’t reflect hole difficulty in my opinion. Some lovely par 3’s and great views. Shame my sandwich afterwards was on stale bread but overall a good day out. Will definitely return and play it differently second time around!Reviewer Rating

Course in good condition and greens in excellent condition. Bunkers need more sand. Course was busy and probably over booked. Not much fun when queuing on every tee and members not allowing faster players/groups to play through.

The course in good condition but about 40% of the greens could with some work on. They are a bit blotchy and harder to get proper roll

Nice course
Not the longest at par 70, but a very nice course.Good use of bunkers & a bit of water has you thinking off the tee on more than one hole.
Great condition for the time of the year, except for thin sand in the bunkers.
Hotel was nice, staff were all great & the food was okay.
Overall a good experience
