Lovely course
A lovely course that I’ve played many times, friendly staff great facilities. Not a long course but definitely challenging with some narrow tree lined fairways, water hazards and fairway bunkers to catch the unwary.Reviewer Rating

Ball Washing.
A nice course, but it is a shame that there is no where on the course that you can clean your ball.Reviewer Rating

Interesting course
A bit muddy but has been quite wet. Fairways ok, a little bear in places, but greens fine.Difficult front 9, very tight, back 9 a little easier. Good test of all round game.

A gem of a course
I'd never played Hersham Village golf course before in spite of living locally since 2007. It took a neighbour to alert me to this little gem of a course, which has a variety of dog legs and straight fairways, most tree lined and narrow. I usually take 3 wood on all Par 4s, but here it came out of the bag on just 4 occasions, three of which had a negative tree involved outcome. It was my 3 iron, which was invariably used off the tee and at 180-195 yards, it left me anything from 3-7 iron approach shot. With narrow aprons to the greens, some with overhanging tree branches, this meant approach shots must be dead eye accurate. Greens ran true and medium fast for early October and we're in very impressive condition; clearly the members and visitors believe in repairing pitch marks. On the day, I played, I hardly saw any other players and unusually for a fast player lost ground to the single ahead. As I pitched into the 18th, light was diminishing (5.30 p.m) in spite of it being a very bright sunny day. I bogeyed the last for a 5, but came off with a score of 75, 8 over par, which was most pleasing for an inaugural round at Hersham. Thoroughly recommend this course.Reviewer Rating

Challenging course
Plays more difficult than the SR and CR would suggest, particularly the front 9 which are as tough as any front 9 on comparable courses. Greens in good nick, fairways a bit bare in patches but overall very good.Reviewer Rating

Good value course
Interesting course with some quite tight opening holes before being more generous on the back 9.Fairways had been well cut and greems run true and so in good shape considering the recent weather.
No fuss booking either and very flexible.

Course of two halves
The first 11 holes are quite challenging and interesting however the following 5 holes are a bit boring straight up and back . However bring plenty of clean ball as there is not ball cleaning equipment on the course due to continued vandalism from local youths, a great pity. The green were very fast and in good condition.Reviewer Rating
