The course doesn't drain very well after heavy rain and we found the five holes on the other side of the footpath not very interesting.The service we received when we got to the bar was very poor, the bartender wasn't very helpful at all and there was no one else to discuss the matter with.

The Bouncy castle by the practice putting green???????? Lots of screaming and shouting from the adventure golf! I understand why club has lost many members.

decent public course all in all, nothing special though. some good challenging holes but a painfully boring back nine. some poor green conditions too. But some nice holes with a good challenge and overall great value for more as its cheap as chips.

Beginning of the end..?
Played here quite a bit over the last 10+ years, and probably the worst the greens have been today. Unfortunately with the proposed housing development and likely closure of the course, I fear the club may have already started to reduce their investment in the course. Greens felt spongy with too much thatch, and fairways poorly cut in places. Such a shame for golfers locally and travelling out from South West London if this place closes. Still good value at ?27 on a Saturday lunchtime tee off. Hopefully just a blip and not the beginning of the end.Reviewer Rating

We forgot that if it's rained a lot then Hersham can be a bit boggy and yesterday it was. To make matters worse, there were no ball washing facilities around the course and the clover was so thick that you didn't have much chance of finding your ball.Reviewer Rating

Good value golf
Fairways wet on a couple of holes after the heavy rain but otherwise in pretty good condition. As usual no complaints about the greens in particular. Bunkers perhaps looked in need of a good raking. Nice little local track which was reasonably priced.
Only drawback was a 3-ball ahead of our 2-ball that was incredibly slow and appeared to have no concept of keeping up pace of play.

Enjoyable round
