What the club says: Heaton Moor Golf Club celebrated its Centenary in 1992. From 9-hole beginnings on leased land, our ‘Oasis in Suburbia’ – an 18 hole, 6000 yd par 70 course and well-developed Clubhouse - is now wholly owned by its members and is guaranteed to provide a local and friendly golfing facility for the future.
Set in a mature and protected conservation area, the gently undulating parkland course has two separate 9 holes starting from the Clubhouse. As a member and if time is short, the layout lends itself to playing just a few holes, if preferred, since there are several starting points. On a light summer evening it is hard to resist slipping out for ‘a bit of practice’ and you always have the added comfort of knowing that you are never more than a short walk from the 19th!

Nice course
Front 9 is quirky with doglegs left and right, back 9 is longer and more tree lined.Course was boggy even though we had no rain for 4 days. We got ate by loads of bugs

Nice course

Great course
What a great front nine plenty of short par four’s but doglegs Which required good tee shots, the greens & fairways were excellent as well(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 90 Handicap: 16.4)

beautiful course

Great golf course, a laid out golf course excellent fairways with lightning fast greens! Always try and leave yourself below the cup!! Friendly staff in the pro shop and bar! Highly recommend playing here! Only short but a cracking test

Poor Drainage
Played in May after spell of relatively dry weather but still some very boggy patches in fairways etc. Middle holes are quite repetitive. That said, an ok course if you can get a cheap tee time.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 15.5)

Playable and fun course throughout

Very good first 9, missing directions to the tees for visitors. Second half long wide fairways. Lots of walking from green to tee. Clubhouse very friendly and good value.

Front nine has more variety, with a good test of both long and short games. The back nine is a test of keeping your drives straight and on the correct side of the fairway to achieve a good score. Everyone at the club was very welcoming and overall we had a good mornings golf. Pity the weather folk can't predict Manchester weather.

I feel it was over priced considering you can play else where better for same price.

My first time playing here despite it being my nearest golf club. What a pleasant surprise! Cracking little course, quite short but you need to plan your way round. Great stuff. Will play again, maybe even look into membership.

Played here for the first time - the course is quite tight and next time i probably wouldn't use my driver as much! The greens were hollow tined so can't give a fair review. No hole number signs on the tees is a negative though.

Liked the course layout, especially the front nine. Greens were hollow tined and sanded which was unfortunate (for us) but understandable at this time of year. Very strange that there are no Hole number signs on the tees.

parkland course with lots of trees and some worrying out of bounds. Greens in excellent condition but tricky. Not a long course but accuracy is paramount
