Society Day

Our society day started off with a full English breakfast, which was good. The weather was bright with a slight easterly breeze ie off the sea. As the course was dry the fairways had a bit of run and the occasional bad bounce. The greens too had not recovered from their Spring treatment ie scarrifying and airrating ,but generallt the course was in a reasonable condition, and it would not stop me playing it again.

Nice course right beside the beach. This is the most Easterly course in the country. Tees, fairways, bunkers and greens were all in a good condition. Nice pro shop and clubhouse. 17th hole has a deep gulley in front of the green, stay out of it!

the gorleston golf club isnt far from hopton holiday village (camp site ) this is good for money .now for the club ,was made very welcome weather poor ,but didnt stop us playing £30.00 to pay and play and have different times for te off weather its 1 or 10. would think this would have temp greens in winter

Played Twilight for £18 and very good value at that price. Cliff top course although not a links. Wind is courses main defence although beware of very carefully positioned gorse & bunkerts off the Tee. Very friendly place, went into clubhouse post round and greeted with a warm welcome.

Very challenging

Great fun to play links golf and the weather certainly made the course very challenging. Greens near the sea front are a bit bobbly but it’s difficult for ground keeper.
Thoroughly enjoyed the day
