Excellent condition especially the Greens .
However, why have they placed new bunkers on at least 7 holes approx 220 yards from the tee in the middle of the fairway that penalise good tee shots ?
Frustrating for the mid -handicapper that can’t fly it 220 yds plus off of the tee .

Good course with tricky greens
Played the course after a long dry spell on a very hot, dry day.Good run on the fairways. Fairly flat overall. Subtle slopes on the greens. Would hope to play better on a future visit.

Good course and ok value. But the greens always seem to be under repair/being treated when I'm there so putting hit and miss as you cross country your way around the greens!

Great if you are a local resident (although i am i have taken others who are not and they got the cheap price too!) as it is £20 winter £25 summer between 7 and 8 in the morning and after 5 in the evening. Good greens, nice and quick and generally a well maintained course. Not sure why you'd pay an £800 joining fee and £1200 yearly fee (approx) though when you can play much cheaper! Well worth the visit and say you are a resident in the borough of Richmond.

I really like this course. You cannot use the clubhouse unless you are a member and the 18th green is closed.

A really well maintained & looked after course & given the recent wet weather played very well indeed. The greens were excellent for winter as were the fairways & tees. Away from there the usual amounts of leaves meant I lost 4 balls compared to my partners?3. The course itself is flat & fairways broad & plenty of trees & almost as many bunkers. One nice par 3 defended by a pond / lake & some well placed ditches / streams but that aside not to much to distinguish one hole from another. Keen to return in summer to see how it plays then. Post round enjoyed a youngs beer on draft & prawn mayo sandwiches. Good fayre indeed.

Classic old course, now quite a challenge
Played Fulwell for the first time in about 5 years. In that time they have put in some new tee boxes and a lot of fairway bunkers that really toughen up the course. It is a good layout with some really nice par 3 and par 5 holes. Conditioning is good; it has been raining a lot leading up to playing and the course had no standing water.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic greens
First time visit to Fulwell and it was a treat. Course conditioning was very good, especially the greens which were immaculate, so true and firm. The layout is generally ok rather than anything inspiring but there are some well positioned bunkers and brilliantly contoured green complexes. It's really all about short game here. Warm welcome, good practice facilities, lovely looking clubhouse and good pace of play. We're keen to return.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course

Played Fulwell for the first time last week and found the conditioning to be superb. For a course in the London Boroughs there was lots of space and the course didn't feel cramped. The designs of the greens really made you think and to score well round there you need to really think about your approach shot. A very enjoyable experience!Reviewer Rating

Much improved !
A lot of work has gone into the general condition of the course over the last 2 years and these are now some of the best Greens in Surrey . Some clever positioning of new bunkers also has turned the course into a real test .However, still not the friendliest of clubs to visitors !

Nicely conditioned flat parkland
Fullwell was in great shape when I played it in mid September. The greens were soft but were quick and true. It is a typical Greater London parkland with holes running parallel to each other. Some tough long par 4s on the back make the back 9 more challenging. Well worth a visit although only the par 5 5th and par 3 9th really stand out.(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 75 Handicap: 3)

Great value
Fulwell is a great course with some of the best fairways and greens I've played on including far more expensive clubs. It's a tricky course, not particularly long but if you miss the fairways you can easily loose your ball in thick brambles.Although the land is very flat the course still has some memorable holes with raised greens, water hazard, drivable par four, testing par 5s.
Off the course the clubhouse is very nice and a bunch of friendly people around.

Great course in great condition bunkers are still under going improvements and some are still not playable but this did not take away from our enjoyment the greens were very fast but very good.
The club house and staff are very good.
