Great condition
Credit must go to the greenkeepers, I've played a few times over winter and the course has been in great condition especially for the time of the year. Only gripe is players should replace their divots more. Only thing stopping me rating it top marks. Well done Filey Golf Club.Reviewer Rating

Played it for 1st time yesterday in East Riding alliance, very windy but course in great condition really enjoyed it, club house very welcome and staff great, good food would definitely recommend

The course is playing very well, greens still in good shape as are the fareways a really plesant morning golf.

Played this course on Monday 28th October with two friends. Having travelled from Leicester on the windiest and wettest day for years. However the sun shone on the righteous and we enjoyed a great round of golf. Considering the weather the course was in good condition. Opening two holes are a bit of a disappointment but then everything improves. Do not be fooled into thinking this is a links course it is more parkland. Everyone very friendly especially the two members we met. No catering available on the day but due to the weather that was not surprising. If you cannot eat at the club treat yourself to some "Famous Harpers Fish & Chips at their resturant on the A64 between Filey and York. Overall a great day.

very enjoyable course with wide enough fairways to give the higher handicappers every chance. Some of the flag positions were quite awkward given the firm conditions

Short course however not to be taken for granted as wind big factor here due to coast..
A mixture of links and parkland holes with stunning views from first green and 17th / 18th holes.. A must to see ...

Average layout but spectacular last two holes
The layout was disappointing with an unnecessarily close overlap of 2/3/14, also tenth was undergoing serious rework and the fifth had a temporary green, neither of which was mentioned by the pro. The last two holes had spectacular views across the bay and played like links, whereas most was just parkland. Aside from the repair work, the course was in good shape but the greens were slow relative to nearby courses.Reviewer Rating
