its probably not for the low handicappers but as someone new to golf its one of the best courses for the price I have found for £10 its hard to find anything else that compares to it, a few hazards make it slightly more fun however the short distance of the course even for someone like me who is average to poor at best I can get round in 70 mins.Saying all that its a really nice course and well worth it if for value.

this is a municipal course but it well kept and friendly. Also very cheap. sunny day and despair lots of rain in the preious few days but no pools of water

Post lockdown
Hadn't played for many months and decided to go back to good old Enderby. Considering it had been closed for some time it was in reasonable condition. Been back 3 or 4 times since and enjoyed it. The course condition is improving a the time now. Friendly and helpful staff. Well done Enderby golf. Had to give a poor review for food and drink as because of covid restrictions the cafe and bar were closedReviewer Rating

Overlooked

Great place
Course is a good one to play, testing for high handicappers and good challenge for lower ones.Shop is a dreamworld, really top rate items at very competitive prices, and I mean VERY.

As a regular here,the challenge of this 9 hole course is tough but fair, as a 9 hole pay and play it is excellent value for money the staff and facilities are overall a very good standard

Good quality 9 hole course
Enderby is a great 9 hole course which is a good course for both beginners and the more advanced players out there. Fairly straightforward for the shorter hitters but there is plenty of trouble out there if you decide to really go after the flags. I last played here about 7-8 years ago. It has matured somewhat and I believe it has improved as a result. I thought the greens were quite fast which meant for someone of my ability the ball was running through the back on most of the holes. The fairways had actually got some nicely mown grass on them, no t your average council subsidised cut. A few more strategically placed bunkers would make enderby a bit more of a thinkers course, than a drive & pitch.

I have played golf at Enderby for a number of years and the improvements to the course are excellent. The drainage, the fairways and the greens have all improved and would match any course in the country. The leisure centre has also seen improvements and offers a good variety of snacks for all the different groups who use it.

I have played at the Enderby Course a number of times and felt I should supply a review for the website.
The Course is a Council Owned Municiple Course located behind the Enderby Leisure Centre.
The Pro Shop is at the Rear of the Building (Well Signposted) and has very friendly staff manning it.
The Course is a Nicely planned 9 hole course so you are able to pay for and play 9 or 18 holes (Using the same tee points).
The Course is well maintained and the Professional also offers Good Value Lessons for any level of player.

If you're short on time then get here for a quick 9 holes. For the price, you'll struggle to find better value in the county.

Lovely friendly place to play, but only for the beginner. The greens are terrible, bunkers are shocking and the course is so short and always having to wait over ever shot. For the beginners though it’s a good place to start but there is much better municipal courses around which will test you and make you a better player.Reviewer Rating

Quick round
At ?9.50 for 9 or ?11.50 for 18 what's not to like. Unfortunately when I visited the rain meant that they couldn't mow the fairways, which resulted in them resembling a meadow. To be fair on them, they were in the process of cutting them. It's always great to go back because Chris the pro is always friendly and has been there since forever.
