What The Club Says
What a spectacular golf course! The condition really is unrivalled locally and the view are nothing short of stunning. The winds can make the course testing of the very best amongst us but overall the course is a classic mix, designed it seems with golfers of all abilities in mind.
As a chalk downland golf course we are playable all year round.
Play here - you really won't regret it!

The bunkers were very consistent as were the greens which I found to be on the slow side. Some directional arrows would have been useful as on a number of occasions the location of the next tee was not obvious. As for the catering, the bacon roll was good, but the meal disappointing.

Well maintained - panoramic views
Visited on 19th April. Warm dry day but a gusty SE wind (unusual direction). Course is in surprisingly good condition follow the wet winter. Most tees understandable from mats but all greens in use. The 16th green is being remodeled and the hole is not in use.Reviewer Rating

Only course that is playable in Sussex
As always, this course drains so well and is always open. Cottesmore, Sweetwoods, HH, Lindfield, and even Pyecombe (yesaterday) closed. Shame 13th and 16th not open but can see why. Bedding in new bunkers, knowles etc. Some temp teees but on the whole tees looked good and greens were fantastic. No wind made it relatively easier but then again when wind does blow, inevitably game of 2 halves.Reviewer Rating

Nice to be back
1st game this year and course lives up to billing. Wind a big factor and greens are relatively fast. Bunkers look as if plenty of sand but it an illusion. Chipping with Wedge getting better and single putting a few times.Reviewer Rating

Friendly club
A very friendly and courteous club. As visitors we were made very welcome. The course is challenging but very good. Greens in good condition. Only minor criticism there are no signs to next tee or maps to show layout.Reviewer Rating

The wind plays its part
As always, East Brighton in great condition. The rain just disappears but the wind just confuses things. An on shore this time and feels like it comes across most holes. Always fun to play here as you necver know what to expect from the wind. Greens softish but run fast. Bunkers hard as they are the only part of the course that gives away that it has rained frequently recently.Reviewer Rating
