Downshire Golf Complex has a reputation as one of the finest 'pay and play' courses in the country and offers a range of top quality facilities in a delightful setting within the Berkshire countryside. A Par 73 18-hole championship golf course, which measures 6,416 yards. With water hazards on 13 of its 18 holes, this course can provide a challenge to even the most experienced golfer.

Well run public course, tees could be in better condition
Lovely course, well established and maintained with the exception of the tee areas, I feel they don't move the tee markers often enough so you are often playing off a line of unrepaired divots , otherwise facilities and staff are excellent.Reviewer Rating

Good value course
Ball run well although fairways a little bare in places. Greens ok. Busy as expected at weekends, could do with marshals speeding up slower groups, particularly the youngsters, who don't seem to be aware of the keeping up with play etiquette.Reviewer Rating

Great value
Normally very well priced compared to other courses and today was unexpectedly very busy because of it. Hence, late starting and a slow round but still great value and you can't knock it. Course in good nick considering the dry weather though greens were a bit bare in places.Reviewer Rating
