Challenging course with restaurant attached

Very challenging course, basically a 9 holer but you can go round twice. A bit rough and ready around the edges, but the muddiness is not so bad after this summer's heat. Seems to be more popular on the weekend when members play, but turn up in the week and you can pay and play. There's a popular restaurant there now and they do teas/coffees as well as food.Worth a visit.

Reasonably priced but muddy in places

This is a handy little course for us from the west side of Brum, towards West Brom. Reasonably priced and week days can be very accessible, not crowded, etc. With the wet winters we're having, it can be fairly muddy in some places (3rd hole is the worst). Green-keepers doing a great job of continually working on it. It's a nine hole-go round twice for 18 with different tee slots.Very tough to play in parts. A great restaurant attached, very popular with locals. Pop in for a coffee

Very nice course for the money

Very windy course as its wide open, pretty challenging holes as its very up and down and very hard to judge distances in cold wet weather

Challenging but great course

Played this course on 2 consecutive beautiful days with an overnight stay. Very challenging and hitting the fairway is essential from the tee. Course management is critical which I learned in time for the second day. Some long enjoyable par 3’s. The whole overnight stay with 2 rounds, breakfast and evening meal was exceptional. I came away feeling in profit and would definitely go back.

Short course but very hilly

A course that looks quite easy on the card, but dont be fooled its not, the 1st four holes are very hilly then flattens out for next 4, then take a breath and climb mount everest for the 9th ????
Some very challenging par 4s as they are over 400 yards, i played it today and it was very windy so tough to get to greens in reg, it was pretty dry on course considering the weather we have had lately, all things considered £18 for 18 holes was very good value

Hidden Gem in West Brom

Tough little course. 9 holes you can go round twice with different tee positions. Friendly staff. Nice course, up hill, down sale. Well hidden. If you can find it, you'll be well rewarded. Enjoy!
