an old fashioned club, small club house with balcony over looking the 18th green. pro shop adequate. yardage books three quid.facilities a putting green and three nets. there is a field to hit balls but you need to bring your own.so nowhere to realy warm up. course was interesting and in very good condition greens were fast and tricky. rough was very thick would recommend you play provisional every time you go in there. lots of hills would recommend a trolley or buggie unless your young and fit.

Enjoyed a round here today 1st July 2014. Sun shining course looked great. Greens were hard and pacey, played like a links. Lost a couple of balls to the acres of rough. Fabulous luncheon after the round. An excellent day out.

The course is tough if you wander off the fairways as the heather is harsh. Greens great as usual

The course is in beautiful condition with the fairways and green well kept. A beautiful place to play golf.

Excellent as always although the greens were a little slow because of the recent overnight rainfall

Excellent course with breathtaking views. Course has some challenging holes. Wonderful clubhouse with lovely facilities, food and friendly members. The view from the balcony is one if not the best in golf. Overall a lovely day out and well worth a visit.

nice testing course - punishing rough and a fair old walk - would play again but felt slightly over priced.

Definitely one of the best courses I have played. Picturesque views combined with challenging holes and a well kept course. The members and staff were very friendly and the food was excellent.

Truly excellent course- wonderful old feel- tough but fair. Cant wait to go back with more course knowledge. Lovely clubhouse and great staff in pro shop. Would definately join if i lived closer.

Took a day off and did a two for one all day deal last week. £30 for two rounds was excellent value. Had a brilliant days golf one a classy course. It was playing very difficult because of rock hard and sloping fairways, wo I lost a ton of balls but enjoyed the day anyway. Would recommend the course to any mid to low handicappers, anyone over 18 is going to find it tough. Remember to wear white socks if you want to wear shorts.

A really enjoyable Course, with great views of the south downs (on a clear day). Could do with more bunkers and possibly a water feature but it is a high course so a water feature would be hard. very good facility and friendly staff. Overall a great way to spend a day out.
