Delight to play
Wonderful course.Course currently undergoing some essential maintenance, with the greens being top dressed, fairways need to be mowed. But apart from that even the back 9 were fairly well drained considering the weather we have had. The joy of this club when they know the course has reduce quality due to top dressing is that they drop the prices. I got 18 holes done (granted 2 temporary greens on the back 9) for £10 which is fantastic.
This is my favourite course in the local area because it continues to test me on the back 9. I would recommend any golfer playing here. Warning though the back 9 are a lot harder than the front .

Lovely course couldn't play the last four holes due to light. Green just been top dressed so they are a little bumpy and slow. However this will soon pass. Defiantly one of my favorites in the area. Newbes be warned from holes 11 -17 are very tight.

Loved the front 9, not a massive fan of the back 9. All in all, its a really well maintained course with tons of variation. Front 9 is a lot more open and you really need to take advantage of this if you are going to post a decent score. Back 9 is a lot tighter and requires pin point accuracy on many of the tee shots.
The course is very hilly with some superb views so I would recommend to anyone, however if you are a little erratic like myself you could get very frustrated and need plenty of balls in the bag.

If they could rearrange the order of holes so 18 was played in the middle of the round I would rate the course 5*s.
The heavens opened while I played 6,7,8,and 9 yet the course, especially the greens held up well.
Clubhouse was empty, when I got in and hence, a little uninviting.
Would I go back? Definitely
