Marmite Course
I played with the clubs Senior members great bunch of Seniors, I was made most welcome and had a lot of help from office staff, nice clubhouse. Now the course the first 10 holes great views easy to play from 10 to the 18th a difficult course all together. I would recommend this course to low or high handicappers I will be back 10/10Reviewer Rating

a great day out
7 of us had a great day out enjoying the unformidable hospitality extended to visitors. First of all, they were unrelentingly apologetic that the greens had not been cut; in truth they worked for us. The mowers chased us around the course and when they overtook us the greens were absolutely perfect. Even the lawn mower operator confirmed their sorrow over the situation. Bacon rolls were delivered to us on the ninth tee and hospitality continued in the bar after the match .Reviewer Rating

a right toughie
the greens were in great shape. All the tees were up and running and the fairways in most part were cut. We spent a lot of time on the first two holes looking for our balls on the fairway and were quite exasperated by this but it improved as we went roundReviewer Rating

Never play the same hole twice
I really like this course and one reason why being a nomadic golfer used to suite me, because I got to play this course more often than I do now, because I don't use my membership enough I don't feel I can go here because the extra journey time and the cost of the green fee. If I lived closer to Cotswold edge I would be a member here. This course has very different holes, you never play the same hole twice, they're all unique.
It was a nice change playing the course from the white tees.
I would highly recommend.
As this was a competition between clubs I must say that the members welcomes us and I look forward to playing them again next year.

I love this course
I'm not going to say I have played every golf course in the area but I have played most for under £30.This course has an awesome mix of holes. The front 9 is fairly open and you're unlikely to lose a ball if you keep the ball on the planet, but you will be punished if you go into the trees with a likely chip out. The front 9 is where you can push your driver and attack this course, there are birdie opportunities here, but if played poorly it will equally harm your score card.
The back 9 is where you need to bring extra balls, but equally the smart golfer can make up ground here. The driver shouldn't come out for many golfers here except maybe the 10th and 18th. I've had many cards wrecked here, it is an exciting 9 holes and you have to be careful on every hole, including the 18th where you can let the driver rip you see many people searching for their ball in the tall trees.
The contrition of the course when I played was superb and the pace of play was fair for a weekend morning with a challenging back 9. A worm welcome at the bar afterwards with a ice cold drink on a hot day was much appreciated.
You're not going to beat this for £25 green fee on a weekend morning,

I love this course
This course is such a breath of fresh air for me. See my previous reviews for a more in-depth. The front 9 is fairly open with interesting undulations on the 3rd and 6th holes. The views are lovely looking over South Gloucestershire. The 10th and 11th holes sink you into what will be an interesting pleasure to play or the valley of doom.. If you spray the ball like a feral tom cat sprays it's urine you're going to be in a world of hurt. But you don't need to be long here. It is pat pat, technical golf, You might use a driver 3 or 4 times on this part of the course, long irons or hybrids will be your friends off the tee here or you'll be taking more tee shots than is required. OoB is never far away and normally plays on your right.

Fantastic scenery, challenging holes
Played Cotswold Edge yesterday and enjoyed it enormously. Every turn of the course opens out a new view of the Cotswold hills and each hole is a challenge in itself with a variety of elevations, twists and turns.Reviewer Rating
