Shocking
Worse place I have ever played. I was in a 2 ball and in front of us was 2 4 ball groups who joined together.Slow play, wouldn't let us through and found ourselves waiting for over 25 minutes on 1 tee. Joke of a place would never recommend this golf course.

The greens were terrible as were the fringes around the green. The faiways patchy and damp underfoot despite not much rain recently. Also a good number of the fairways are cursed with ridge and furrow.

poor course with unfriendly bar staff and staff in the pro shop would never play it again with there being better courses locally

This Course used to be one of the best courses in the East Midlands but the last couple of time I have played it has been very poor, such a shame to see a course go backwards

Course was in really poor condition which is a shame as years ago this was a great track with some special holes, the clubhouse has turned into a café however the pro shop and driving range are much improved since my last visit

Ok but could be better
Just played the staff were very friendly and welcoming but wasn't happy paying £22.50 midweek in September when they had just hollow tined the greens. The first 7-8 holes the course was scruffy but for 9 onwards the course was beautiful.Would I play here again? the answer would be no as could go Whetstone which is round the corner for £10-12 and just as nice with same facility's

Young assistant pro very welcoming 21st April 2017, good facilities with excellent range a short walk from the 1st tee, the course was rock hard and bare in places, wouldn't fancy playing a medal without full placing this year!
Greens average not long hollow tined but needed more sand as putts jumped a lot. Course layout is fun and different. If in good condition it would be a gem. #NeedsCare and some love I'm afraid but worth the £20 with county card

Nice course on the edge of Leics, suitable for beginners like me, where fairways are a little forgiving and the rough is not too bad to get out of. Greens played lovey too on a nice summers day til a storm over the back 9 ruined a perfect day off work,

I thought we would have issues as we followed the last group out in CGC competition. But to their credit they never had any problems, which meant we didn't either. Greens and most fairways were in good condition. Some winter improvements are looking like they will have an impact when spring/summer weather arrives.

Nice technical course
Lovely course in great condition. Greens are quicker than I'm used to but run true. Not the longest but if you're off line, you have to take your medicine!(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 95 Handicap: 15.9)

Enjoyable course in good condition parkland douse that is tight so you need to be strieght. We booked on line and one of our party could not make it, the pro refunded his green fee. Club will match prices on the internet. Will play again.

One of Leicestershire?s best
Never played this course before, but boy was it worth the wait. We played on a Thursday, tee?d off at 11am. The course was dry and in very good condition. I bought a course guide to help me out abit. My friend booked it and was surprised at the ?20 cost. A very good price. Fairways were very quick, and so were the greens. All rolling true and quite quick for us.If I'm picking any negatives it will be the bunkers had little quality sand in them and there was some rough loose grass cuttings on the 16th , between the tee box and the start of the fairway. Just made it look a bit scruffy, but other than that a very good thinking golf course. Definitely worth a revisit.

Lovely course, really hot weather, challenging holes, only downside is check they haven't scored lines on the greens cost me at least 4 pars.. when greens are back to normal course will be bang on

Nice parkland course. Some nice holes, especially those with the stream by the greens. First few holes have ridge and furrow fairways so a good drive down the middle might still result in an awkward downhill lie. Everywhere is wet but in good shape considering. Greens are in good condition and still nice to putt on. 2 holes (6th and 7th) are closed off but I was encouraged to play a couple of holes twice to make up the full 18. The course is playing considerably shorter than the card at the moment as some holes have temporary winter tees.
