Nice course on the edge of Leics, suitable for beginners like me, where fairways are a little forgiving and the rough is not too bad to get out of. Greens played lovey too on a nice summers day til a storm over the back 9 ruined a perfect day off work,

I have been fortunate enough to play a lot of different golf courses over the years and I can honestly say that the condition of this course was up there with the best. It had the best greens I have putted on in several years.
Some very interesting holes...1st, 4th, 7th, 9th, and the 17th to name a few.
Very friendly in the Pro Shop and Bar which had Timothy Taylor Landlord on draught which topped the sunny afternoon off!
An absolute steal at £20 a round.

First time playing at Cosby with a society. Very friendly and interesting course.
Greens were excellent for the time of year.

Nice course in very good condition. Staff in the golf shop were very helpful with a issue we had regarding our booking. Well worth playing

Young assistant pro very welcoming 21st April 2017, good facilities with excellent range a short walk from the 1st tee, the course was rock hard and bare in places, wouldn't fancy playing a medal without full placing this year!
Greens average not long hollow tined but needed more sand as putts jumped a lot. Course layout is fun and different. If in good condition it would be a gem. #NeedsCare and some love I'm afraid but worth the £20 with county card

Although I am unable to find your records, I note your comments from your February visit! \I wish more players would leave feedback as we are currently receiving some excellent reviews about our club. Our golf course is in excellent condition as we are about to host Leicestershire\'s Ladies County Championships, with greens rolling as well as you will find anywhere in the region. We have an excellent Pro Shop team Anders, Tom, James & Alastair all providing the friendliest of welcomes. The Pro Shop has an excellent stock of the latest apparel and equipment and Anders is recognised as one of the best coaches in the Midlands and we are Leicestershire’s only approved Scotty Cameron putter and Titleist Vokey wedge fitters.\We are currently promoting a Limited Membership Offer which represents excellent value to try one of the best courses around and you can now pick up some of our latest offers with our new online booking system. Course was in really poor condition which is a shame as years ago this was a great track with some special holes, the clubhouse has turned into a café however the pro shop and driving range are much improved since my last visit

Enjoyable day, good course had fantastic weather played it with a Groupon voucher, range balls buggy 18 holes and lunch for £15 pp bargain, not sure normal price but would return

I thought we would have issues as we followed the last group out in CGC competition. But to their credit they never had any problems, which meant we didn't either. Greens and most fairways were in good condition. Some winter improvements are looking like they will have an impact when spring/summer weather arrives.

Nice parkland course in great surroundings
A very nice parkland course to play in very nice surroundings. On the outskirts of Leicester city the course is mature tree lined with some tricky holes and testing tee shots. Very nice clubhouse, shop, facilities and friendly staff made the day and the competition very enjoyable.Reviewer Rating
