What the club says: Cobtree Manor Park Golf Course is located on the outskirts of Maidstone and is very easy to find being just seconds off the the M20. It's easy to see why this venue is one of the most visited courses in Kent, with a stunning 18-hole layout, USGA-specification greens and welcoming Clubhouse with a large decking area adjacent to the 18th green.
The course was built in the 1960s amongst rolling parkland, with several water features integrated into the design of the holes.

Course has improved under get golfing ownership but whether the drainage has improved the over winter experience remains to be seen. Due to the pay and play policy there have been some slow rounds recently, which are an annoyance to members but unquestionably brings income to the club.

Course in reasonable condition. I find it unacceptable that there are no ball washers on the course. The machine to clean shoes/trollies is still broken. Some of the bunkers could with more sand.

Lovely track
I was glad to play Cobtree Manor Park Golf course again.I always enjoy the way the course layout moves seamlessly from hole to hole. Tight fairways and true greens allow for a low scoring opportunity.

Lovely condition course and the fairways & greens are in very good condition for the most part, played on Sunday 29th June and took our four ball over 5 1/4 hours to get round due to the sheer number of golfers on the course, waited for nearly 20 minutes on a par three due to the back up of groups. When its busy like this maybe having a marshall on the course to speed the slower groups up would help out with this.

Great summer course
Overall always a good test of golf, good lay out with some challenging holes. Course management is a must as trees will cause loss of shots and also loss of holes. Course slowly beginning to dry out. Bunkers were in very good condition. All tee boxes were from mats which have seen better days. Greens in reasonable condition.

Good test of golf
First impression was 60% of the tees have not recovered or been overused ,patchy and uneven and some barer than others.The course is well laid out and is a good challenge of golf and needs though and good course management from the tee. Greens were good but most of the fringes were left long.Unfortunately there had been a storm the previous weekend so the course had suffered and was boggy in places.Reviewer Rating

Good society venue. Close to the M20 and A229 so there is a bit of traffic noise on a few holes. This is more than made up for by the good and intersting layout of the course and picturesque view. Course in good condition.
