The course was very wet in too May places could do with some work on the drainage,greens and fairways very wet could do with better maintainance, as it's in a very nice settings shame the course is not better looked after

course ok. Its a municipal course at the end of the day. Could be doing with a bit spent on it. Some nice holes and staff friendly and helpful

This course is slowly but surely getting there. Greens were consistent if not brilliant but a lot better than in the past. Lot of attention spent on all aspects of course so hopefully it continues to improve!

Council course which has improved in recent years. Tee areas not great but greens and fairways have improved a lot. Good course for average golfers like myself.

For £7 i cant really comlain about this course though sometimes the greens are in the best of conditions and if your thinking of going to play this course make sure your tee'd off before 10:30am or you'll be in for a long day due to the 5sum that plays at a ridiculicy slow pace everyday between 11am and 3pm

Dubious about playing here after looking at some reviews. Not a problem, most of them are old...so don't relate to present day course. Fairway/greens in good nick, signage no worries, was able to navigate course without any probs. Scorecard map very good, didn't need specs and 6th tee just over the road, not 'five minute walk'. A good test for any golfer. Will certainly go back....often.

This is my local course and I have been playing on it since I was a little boy. The course is in very good shape considering what it used to be like and I think it is a challenge to golfers of all abilities.
