A lot better

Used to play this course years ago.It suffered from bad drainage, and would be like a bog with any rain. They have done some work on the drainage, and after quite a wet week it played a lot firmer.

Popped in on the off chance on a sunday morning as nothing available on tee off times app. £18.50 for a round on whats essentially a public park. The course was soaking wet which is fine but some of the puddles were unbelieveable even though it hadnt rained for 24+ hours. Big bald patches on some greens as well. As others have said, this is fine for a quick round especially if u get it for £7 on teeofftimes app but not at £18.50.

This was the first time I had played this course in a few years. Still some drainage problems on some of the holes. The greens have certainly improved since I last played. A course that is alright if you just want a quick round.

Course waterlogged throughout, drainage is shocking. Maybe they should put the £18 it cost to trudge around this marsh towards the course instead of the fancy renovations to the clubhouse. They have this back to front, the course should come first. That's why we go to golf courses, to play golf. That price is absolutely ridiculous for a substandard course compared to other public courses around. You can play some quality private courses for less. With the poor drainage you're basically paying £18 for winter golf on a public course and that's just a rip off. Easily the worst course I've played and the first time I've wanted to pack up and go home for any other reason than my golf! ???? won't be back again and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
