Good value
A very good value course, not the most prettiest due to pylons around the course, but at ?15 it'" you can't go wrong and it provides you with enough challenge.Reviewer Rating

A nice little course
A bit tight in places with tee's near greens & having to cross some fairways, but overall they've made good use of the space available.It's a course where you have to pick your shot occasionally as they've used the ditch well. I liked 9 & 10. Hole 5 is a bit different, you can't take on the water due to the massive bunker behind it, so a bit of strategy is needed. I thought the sign by the tee warning you of all the dangers was brilliant!
The course itself is in good condition, with good greens. Just needs a bit of a tidy up round the clubhouse & the entrance.
Can't knock it for £15 though

Interesting course with some quite unique holes. There are some challenging natural features with a good variety of water and hilly terrain to keep you thinking. The par 4s range from very, very long to reachable off the tee. As a visitor, getting a Saturday morning tee off for ?30 is good value.

Course was in quite good condition.
Some extremely long par fours, too long in my opinion. a quirky par five and some very nice par threes.
Greens were very good.
Easy walking course, fairly open in places.
Club house is unusual.

Good value for money
I would describe it as a very good municipal course and an ok club course. Greens and fairways in good shape. Bunkers and rough could be better.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 93 Handicap: 15.9)

HOT HUMID DAY
Course condition very good considering very hot weather we've had last couple of weeks. Greens good nick, bunkers plenty of sand, pace of play excellent (under 4 hours for three ball)Pro shop small but well stocked. Staff very friendly and polite.
Food not to my taste, bar staff a bit stiff.
Some good holes, a good challenge for me, need a decent mid iron game.
recommend course and will play again.

Played course early and booked the first tee time. Issue was that flags had not been put up when we teed off. Took four holes before the groundmans was not holding us up each hole. The ground was hard, greens were true but a little dry.

A classic course, with some odd twists. Hole #5 is one of the most difficult in London, to the point of being unfair. Greens extremely slow and difficult to judge pace.

The 13th and 16th are far too long for the average golfer (nominally around 463 yards). A couple of holes (5th and 7th) have been shortened to accommodate risk of balls landing in gardens. Other than that the course is always maintained in good condition and winters fairly well.
