Nice Course
Fairways could do with a bit of TLC but no real complaints. Nice pace of play with some interesting Par 3s. Quite challenging in patches.(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 78 Handicap: 8.6)

Very nice day for golf course is good for greens etc but could do with sharper fairways etc
Greens a bit too well watered for this time of year very soft in places you expect faster and more exciting greens!

Short Course, Not well kept. Pro Shop is almost non closed.Golf course will be closed from October for fro some housing development

Reasonable for the Price.
Fairways need cutting as they are nearly as long as the short rough.Tee boxes need levelling out.
Decent Greens.
No food available after round even though sign said food was available at the time we asked.

Interesting course
A course where accuracy is more important than distance. Easy to rack up a high score if you stray off line or land in the many hazards.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 108 Handicap: 22.2)

BHGC is simply one of the best courses in Hertfordshire. The course is always in great condition, good practise facilities although it doesn’t have a range, great VFM, £15 for a round plus friendly and helpful staff which all adds up to a top golf day. Recommended.

Good course

A nice little course
A bit tight in places with tee's near greens & having to cross some fairways, but overall they've made good use of the space available.It's a course where you have to pick your shot occasionally as they've used the ditch well. I liked 9 & 10. Hole 5 is a bit different, you can't take on the water due to the massive bunker behind it, so a bit of strategy is needed. I thought the sign by the tee warning you of all the dangers was brilliant!
The course itself is in good condition, with good greens. Just needs a bit of a tidy up round the clubhouse & the entrance.
Can't knock it for £15 though

Decent course not far from London. Reasonably long and forgiving if wide off the tee without being an easy course to play. Course in good nick. Clubhouse could use some work.

Interesting course with some quite unique holes. There are some challenging natural features with a good variety of water and hilly terrain to keep you thinking. The par 4s range from very, very long to reachable off the tee. As a visitor, getting a Saturday morning tee off for ?30 is good value.
