Very disinterested staff. Course very average until we got lost at the 14th and ended up on neighbouring course, which had very good greens. Most of the course was under water. Not there fault I know. Overall disappointing.

Okay course bad service

Course was ok, but design was fairly basic.
Not many on the course due to forecasted rain and the downpour days prior. This being said the greens were in reasonable condition (just slow) but unfortunately had 3 temp greens (not the courses fault). The fairways weren't well kept though. The damage could be due to the hot summer but still worse for wear.
Service in the clubhouse wasn't great with the server wanting to argue with what I was told on the phone. When she was corrected by her colleague she didn't apologise. Some of the food was cold too.

Be warned played here on 22/10/18 and three of us received a Parking Charge Notice for £100 for using the golf course car park for more than 2 hours. We were not informed of this when paying green fee. Is this the way Everyone Active treat their customers? All ratings have to be poor because of this.

Cabbage Patch

I've played this course for many years and found it to be presented as 2 courses in one. Whilst half the fairways were burnt due to the weather, overwatering found others lush and green. Where lush the grass on the fairways needed a cut and greens were the slowest I've played all year. Personally the course has gone downhill, since Ealing council engaged a third party to run it. Certainly not worth the green fee, compared to other courses. For a Saturday afternoon to have 3-4 clear holes in front of you, says it all.

Course OK, but watch for the parking scam!

The course is on the easy side, which is fine for me but experienced golfers may be underwhelmed. The greens and fairways are inconsistently maintained, some weeks they are pretty good but this varies. The big problem for me is the parking. They outsource to a parking company who will slap a hefty fine on you if you're there for more than 2 hours. Supposedly this is advertised but I must have missed it this summer as over a couple of rounds I'd racked up over £500 in fines. Not recommended.

Helpful for beginners

Interesting course in west London suburb. Some tricky holes but generally helpful to the new golfer. Caution as multiple public footpaths run across the course and locals are often oblivious to golfers, even to the point of picnicking at the edge of fairways on summer evenings! I'm very fond of BV as close to home.

Pleasant, shorter course.

No par 5's. Par 3's are a bit too short. Par 4's are fine. Reasonably priced. Good parking - but remember to give your number plate into staff. £10 on Mondays. Bunkers need more sand in them (at the time of writing). A good municipal type course. Nice club house and bar. Decent grub. Knock 5 off your normal handicap when you play here.

The course would be great if it wasn't for the public wandering around in a daze and totally uncontrolled golfers on the course without paying for it. Just walk on at the 4th and the staff in the club are none the wiser. Complete lack of knowledge by "golfers" shouting loudly and generally annoying others on the course. You can play at a lot of good course for less via other online booking agencies.

Agree with James/Ealing and OB completely, been that way for 3 years. But it's cheap and good for high handicappers like me. Any proper course where you pay guest fees, usually a bit more dearer, are much better. Greens are kept well even when there are long dry spells. First 3 holes are so dull I would just as well skip them but make for a good warm up. Would be very good if it wasn't for public walking their dogs, kids having a drink etc. If you have guests(work/business colleagues or family visiting) don't bring them here, somewhere like wyke green in osterley is a much better, more civilised place. I reckon they would do much more business if they banned the public - bunkers aren't sandpits for kids and benches aren't meeting places for tinnies. Bars pretty good at sunset.
