What The Club Says
Braintree Golf Club was founded in 1891 making it one of the earliest in the country and the third oldest in Essex. It is a par 70 parkland course featuring tight tree lined fairways, water hazards and fast true greens.
It has been on the East of England PGA tour circuit since 1992 and is regarded by professionals and amateurs alike as a course that demands accurate ball striking and good course management.

Still a fave
Temp tees on all 18 holes. Most of the greens had been hollow-tyned that morning. But it's still one of my favourite tracks. Every hole has something about it. The clubhouse is quality and it's managed by nice people. Steak pie was a winner too.Reviewer Rating

A little gem
This course is set in the most beautiful parkland , it's in fantastic condition and a great challenge for all levels of golfer .. the hospitality is superb .. the pro was a delight to talk to and the food excellent.. would highly recommendReviewer Rating
