Played the course over the past few years and have been really disappointed in it this year. The fairways were soaking and you couldnt get any relief from wet soaping arears and the rough has beeb heavy and uncut with bald patches that are unplayable out of it. They have changed some of the hplea and the layout but they have turned their eye away from the normal day to day tasks and have a poor pffer of conditions at present. I hope they sort it out shortly its a shame

Played the course yesterday and if I'm honest, I have played the course in much better condition... The greens were slow and bumpy, members/visitors not looking after it by replacing divots or pitch marks.

Customer Game

Decent Course
Played this course on a work day out.It was ok probably a good course to start taking up golf on.
A lot of the course was flat and with big fairways.So you could really get away with a lot.
Course was kept in a good state and the facilities were of a good standard as well.

Good course with excellent greens. Wide fairways that are forgiving to wild tee shots!. Members and staff were very friendly. And as it was 30 years since I last played here it was unrecognisable with the new clubhouse!

Played the course many a time, it's a great layout although a bit flat. It's main defence is bunkers and burns, if you miss the fairway you should be ok although may occasionally need to chip out onto the fairway. They have spent a lot of money in the past half decade and it really shows, it is quite pricey for a visitor but with the course being in my humble opinion one of the best in Lanarkshire, perhaps it's worth it. Worth a visit.

Bothwell Castle fit for a King
Today, I visited Bothwell Castle for the first time in 30 years. What a pleasant surprise.The course was absolutely fantastic. Great layout, well tended, and greens were running pure.
The Clubhouse area was very clean, staff were attentive, and facilities excellent. Breakfast was lovely.
A must visit, and, I will be back soon
