What the club says: The original Trustees of the Club showed courage and imagination in requesting from James Braid an 18 hole layout. Braid, the first man to win the Open Championship five times, had a prodigious talent both as a golfer and a course designer, and with a minimum of excavation work, he completed the task in four months! At 6030 yards (par 70 for men) or 5244 yards (par 72 for women), Kirkhill golf course offers a fair test of golf and unsurpassed views across the city of Glasgow. The panorama from the 6th green and 12th tees is impressive with views towards the west and Ben Lomond, north to the Campsie Fells. The brand new club house which was completed in 2005, overlooks the first tee and provides an excellent 19th hole after any round!

This course is well looked after and something of a challenge. It is in great condition with top class greens . It has a couple of cracking par threes the best one having an elevated tee. Staff also were very helpful and friendly . Well recommended .

Great course with fantastic greens
Lat minute change of venue as the course we should have played was closed. Pro Duncan took the initiative and got us sorted with tee times and catering. Great welcome from all at the club.
