A literally hidden gem of a course, challenging played across two valleys. Have to use buggy if playing more than 18 holes. When windy, as it often is, it is particularly tricky.

The Hills make this course very interesting and challenging. Impressed with the scenery too.

Long, hilly walk. Recommend a buggy if you're not 100% fit. Looking in very good condition although some greens a bit 'woolly' and not as fast as they ought to be.
Some very elevated tee boxes, which give spectacular views. The 220 yard, par 3, 7th, which mus drop about 100 feet is a bit special.

With all the recent wet weather the course played really well. A shame they are again suffering from 'Badger itis'

Really pleased with this course.... greens were in great nick considering how hot and dry its been lately. As a result probably not as short as they could have been shaved but this is understandable.

If this course was fully irrigated would be one of the best in Kent i think. Every hole is interesting with different gradients and cuts into the fairway. A good mix of open and narrow fairways with some very long and difficult rough if you are wayward off the tees. If you spray the ball 30 yards either side of straight expect to be punished.

Greens excellent. Don't think you'll find your ball in the off fiarway rough , long thick grass and clover will conspire to swallow all balls inconsiderate enough to take a dive into the undergrowth !

Lots of people told us we'd need a buggy but we ignored that and as it turned out it was quite walkable.

It is hilly, especially the climb to the 17th and even further uphill to the 18th, but I found it a very enjoyable course. You just have to be ready to play to the contours, be they across the fairway or up / down hill.

One par three is 230 yards long but about 100 feet drop (play it like a 4!) A real challenge.

Unfortunately we played in some rough weather but I would definitely return when it's dry.

First time playing here. Nice course with several interesting holes, mainly caused by changes in elevation. Pleyed on a very cold winters day but no temp tees or grees which is a great credit to the ground staff. Will be back to play again the summer.

I've been looking for a local club and have played most in this area now. This course is definitely worth a visit as you'll struggle to find a course like it. I am admittedly a little over the top when it comes to criticism but I would say for the money you probably won't find a better round of golf for your money in this part of Kent. It is a long course at around 7200 yards off the whites so if this is an issue it's quite simple - play off the yellows! Most holes on the course are what I would call medium to hard off the whites and I genuinely got to hit every single club in my bag which is quite rare as I do hit quite a good ball which means driver and wedge at most courses but due to the variety of holes at this course being able to hit straight with your fairway woods and long irons will help you post a respectable score. Without doubt the best holes are the par 3 at approx 230 yards which I reached with a 6 iron due to the fact that it's like hitting off the top of a cliff. The par 4 at approx 355 yards is also reachable due to the elavations. To conclude, this course at £15 per round at the moment on a Monday or Wednesday and two for one on a weekend is an absolute bargain . There are only two or three what I call "nothing holes". The setting as honestly magnificent. The negatives are the fact that the badgers have been busy on some of the fairways which ruins the look of some holes, but other than that the greens, bunkers are in pretty good nick. I am also sick and tired of people saying that at certain courses a cart is "a must". Yes it is long and hilly, but if you are under say fifty and "need" a buggy at this course then in my opinion you are seriously unfit!
