What the club says: You will certainly need as much peace and quiet as possible to concentrate on the challenge offered by a par 73 layout which measures a hefty 7,200 yards from the championship tees. The fairways are generously wide, but the undulating nature of the valley terrain means that you will need stamina, good course management and an imaginative touch around the greens to truly prosper on this excellent golfing test.

The course is a very challenging but very beautiful to play on the views are excellent, the greens are superb all year round, the course is very long but has some very beautiful holes. I play here every Wednesday and Saturday. I am extremely sad that his course has now closed. Kent has lost one the best courses in its county.
