What an amazing course. Deffo a course that I would say you have to give it a try. Completely flat and a good walk. Several playing over water holes so be prepared. Back nine holes I felt was so much better than the front nine. But just my opinion.

Excellent course. The greens were nice, considering how dry the summer has been. Plenty of water over the course making you think hard about your tea shots.
We played at 4.15pm on a Monday evening. The course was quiet and was ?30 each. We completed the round with about 20 mins of daylight left.

Great Course and not an easy run in

Played this today 6th Aug 2026. Some amazing variance's on the holes. Much preferred the back nine to the front nine personally. However the front nine are also a great test with lots of water to catch you out if its your first time. Overall would I play it again ?. Deffo 100%. Give it a try, I think it is definitely one to enjoy. Also extremely flat if your not too keen on walking.

Fantastic Course

I cannot rate this course highly enough. The facilities were excellent, the staff were very welcoming and the course overall was superb. We were down from Cumbria for the weekend to The Belfry and we played here on the Saturday. The whole group all honestly thought that this was in much better condition than the PGA at the belfry, that's how good condition this course was. I highly recommend if you are in the area, this course is not to be missed. Excellent value for money, even for a weekend. My group and I would definitely play again if we are ever down this way again. Special thanks to Colin who was brilliant with contact and very accommodating on all questions I asked before we came down. He even came out on a biggy to find me on the course to make sure everything was okay and how we thought the course was. Excellent course, highly recommend.

Forgotten how good Aston Wood is. It had been 6 years since our last visit and so glad we have returned.
Good variety of holes with plenty of water to negotiate. Easy to book, staff were friendly and course was in good condition for November. All four of us have vowed to return soon. A good experience all round
