the 1st nine holes are extremely interesting with some short but difficult holes. then holes 10 to 14 are a little easier with wide fairways and not many bunkers. finally 15 to 18 brings water into play and is an excellent end to the round

First time I have played - lovely friendly club, course in great condition - quite a challenge in windy conditions. 2 closing holes are excellent.

Played Arscott first time in 5 years, extremely impressed with the maturity and condition of the course. Still plenty of water, the views are still stunning and the growth of the trees has made the course more challenging. Warm friendly atmosphere in the Clubhouse. Definately worth a visit.

Friendly pro, Excellent greens, The first hole was a bit village but other than that a nice course. Never played in winds like it, creamed a 3 wood on the 3rd into the wind and still come up short. (would usually take a 9 iron off this distance). The wind was blowing the ball off the tee and our golf trolleys over! crazy! Nice quick greens though. The sort of course were you arnt gonna make a score first time round it, but could make a very good score when you have found your feet.

12 of us went out on this course and only two had played it before, most of us came in with poor scores, some of us with terrible ones! We discussed the reasons for this but we all agreed nothing at all is wrong with the course (apart from the greens being recently spiked) and we had to accept that most of us just had a "poor day". Overall a very interesting course which I'm sure we will ALL play better the second time round??

Overall the welcome we received was great, we just turned up on a saturday without booking and got straight out.

The course has some very challenging holes, and some long holes too, some of the par 4's were simply unreachable in 2 for the average player.

The course condition wasn't the best, the greens were inconsistent from one to the next and needed a bit of TLC.

The clubhouse is failry small but had a very welcoming atmosphere, the food and drink was well priced and of a good quality.
