Condada - great course, each hole a challenge with either water or sand. Greens quick and true, fairways in good nick - recommend! Infrastructure terrible. Pro shop about 1/2 mile from 1st tee, could only buy course planner from the supermarket! No clubhouse so could not have a beer or shower.
Mar Menor - thought previous reviews about being a round of 2 halves were a bit harsh. Course maintained really well, liked the new holes 13 to 15 around the lake.
Good clubhouse for beers afterwards. No course plans available to buy which was a bit frustrating.
El Valle - greens were very fast, but had to be accurate otherwise you just ran off the green (green keeper obviously was in a mood as some of the placements were incredibly tricky. Very picturesque amongst the various ravines with the landscaping adding to the experience. excellent condition, good clubhouse but no course planner (again). Would recommend as a good challenge after the first few holes which were by far the only boring holes of the 18

The course has many fairway bunkers, that are generally quite long and flat. The greens on all 9 holes are very well protected by bunkers, so shot selection needs to be fairly accurate.
Green Bunkers generally have very soft sand, that makes playing out of them a bit easier. Whilst the fairway bunkers are a bit firmer, but allow you to get a good iron away for distance shots.
Booked the course through Club Murcia website - extremely good value green fees. Would certainly recommend this to any handicapper

Half the course being renivated
We've played the course in previous years without issues, however, arrived this year (end of September) to find half the course under renovation. We didn't have any knowledge of this. So holes 1-6 were in use. The 7th hole was a made up one, where basically a tee, a fairway and green had been provided to make the 7th, but, as I said, made up. Then to make up the front nine, holes 17 and 18 were used. To play 18 holes, you needed to play this twice of course. What was disappointing that no recompense was offered for not being able to play the full, correct course. If we'd had known, we would have gone elsewhere this year. In past years the course was ok Disappointing this year for sure though. Clubhouse and facilities fine. But overall, very disappointedReviewer Rating

Very disappointing
A very disappointing return to this venue after 9 years. The course was under refurbishment and only 8 out of the 18 holes were open with a 9th make shift making a twice round play mode the normal. The rest of the facilities were in good order. The clubhouse, shop, accommodation were all top notch. The course did let the trip down badly. The greens were slow, the tees and fairways looked worn and tired. A lot of work is required before a third trip is on the cards.Reviewer Rating

Unkempt
So…for €90 you get weeds everywhere in fairways and bunkers. Temporary tees and long unmown grass on others. Use your money to play other nicer courses. Not a fan.Reviewer Rating

They are relaying them and hoping to reopen in March but I think it's highly unlikely

Good course
This is a good course, busy but good, the design of holes are interesting, the condition of course was good, but greens were slow as of high winds.Design is from fair to difficult, depending on your driving distances, well placed bunkers
Plays as HCP 9,2 and went in 79 and 82 strokes, bunkers took many strokes

A very good course.
Very good course which I would return to. The only downside was playing on a Saturday it was very busy and the pace of play was slow. I understand it is a very popular course and can also be very busy during the week. This apart it is a well kept course offering most club golfers a challenging round.Reviewer Rating

Nice Friendly Course
Mar Menor is a very nice playable resort course, there is a driving range chipping area putting green and a very nice club house. The course is in very good condition but the green are cut long so they were slow! I would play again and opt for the twilight rate as the sun won't be as intense!(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 86 Handicap: 9)
