Set in its own 200 acre parkland estate, the George Washington Golf and Country Club is a 103 bedroom hotel offering the latest modern amenities and conferencing facilities. First game for a while..course in good condition. Greens are cut short so its very fast.fairways are wide and approach are clear

Course was in good condition especially the greens with excellent roll. Club facilities afterwards was a bit to be desired as no staff available on bar/ restaurant so left without refreshments after a good day.

Nice course and friendly staff. Greens very slow so be prepared to hit them. Bar quite expensive.

After getting a great deal on Tee Off UK it was with some surprise that i was met by a grumpy member of staff when booking in who clearly was not happy with the price I was paying for the round! After having a rant about the price he never showed any manners and clearly thought I should not be playing on the course!
Despite that the course is in lovely condition and is a good challenge for golfers of all ranges. The fairways are wide but slip off them then the trees and deep rough awaits! The dense undergrowth around the trees mean that if you stray a penalty shot awaits, though there is a lack of water obstacles so it evens out. The greens were in lovely condition as were the bunkers.
A good course well worth playing, however they could teach their staff some customer service skills and manners!

course is ok when it is cut nicely. bunkers are very hard and not very well kept.
