Set in its own 200 acre parkland estate, the George Washington Golf and Country Club is a 103 bedroom hotel offering the latest modern amenities and conferencing facilities. Friendly staff will ensure that guests thoroughly enjoy their stay. Great Course
May be a bit biased, as this is now my course, but it's a good test, and a good variety of holes.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 86 Handicap: 12.7)

Lovely championship course the George washington
Long course with some challenging holes. Nice wide fairways and in good condition especially in the summer weather. The 6th hole is particularly interesting and challenging to play. The club house staff and pro shop personnel are very friendly and helpful. I really enjoy the course and I look forward to my next round. Value for money wise it is first rateReviewer Rating

Great Course
This has been my home course this year, and I really like it. Quite tight, so needs accuracy off the tee, but some good strong holes. Can get a bit wet in the winter, but that's typical of a lot of parkland courses.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 82 Handicap: 12.7)

Really good course

Great course
My current home course, tight fairways but not too long. Placement is everything though, and most of the course is tree lined. Keep it straight and you'll be fine!(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 94 Handicap: 13)

Once again, really nice round today. Greens and fairways in really good condition. Some challenging holes, and inviting par 3's! - (A little frustrating as a single player stuck behind a fourball who would NOT allow me through at all. A course marshall could have been useful.) All in all, top course.

Course in excellent condition. At hotel for four nights working. Looked after really well by the pro. Playing course after five o'clock each night found to have course to myself. Teens in excellent condition with tight pin positions due to competions being played during the day

a very tough course that will test your course management. has some long holes and water and bunkers in play. defiantly a course to test your long game out and look forward to another challenge here

Course heavy due to the winter weather and very frosty to begin with, so we were on temporary greens. Still a really great course though and enjoyed it. Worth playing if you're in the North East, tight fairways so accuracy is key.

Haven't played the course for 3 years, and never normally play well for some reason. But today played well, the course was in fantastic condition, greens excellent and I really enjoyed the round. Will make sure I play again in the near future.
