Set in its own 200 acre parkland estate, the George Washington Golf and Country Club is a 103 bedroom hotel offering the latest modern amenities and conferencing facilities. Friendly staff will ensure that guests thoroughly enjoy their stay. a very tough course that will test your course management. has some long holes and water and bunkers in play. defiantly a course to test your long game out and look forward to another challenge here

Course heavy due to the winter weather and very frosty to begin with, so we were on temporary greens. Still a really great course though and enjoyed it. Worth playing if you're in the North East, tight fairways so accuracy is key.

The course was fairly muddy given the time of year so was hard going particularly on the front 9. Playing on temporary greens at the moment. But good course and great club house facilities including shop and bar which serves a mean chilli dog! Definitely recommend.

Haven't played the course for 3 years, and never normally play well for some reason. But today played well, the course was in fantastic condition, greens excellent and I really enjoyed the round. Will make sure I play again in the near future.

The course was suffering from the weeks of previous weather and areas were very boggy and spongy, this meant allot of the short game stuff was hard to judge with some plugging. This aside the courses is a very nice one and in the summer will be even better. Facilities are great to with top staff.
