PowerBug’s Trolley Builds the Design of the Brand’s Powered Models into a Non-Motorised Frame

By: Golf Shake | Thu 10 Sep 2015

PowerBug, a trolley brand that has carved a big name for itself in the world of power trolleys in a relatively short space of time, has ingeniously incorporated much of the design and construction of its premium power trolleys into the non-motorised Push 2.0 model

Windsor-based PowerBug, has become one of Europe’s biggest golf trolley suppliers by volume in a very short space of time. This rapid growth can be attributed to innovative designs and rugged build quality, resulting in many happy and loyal customers, all suitably impressed by PowerBug’s pricing, reliability, design quality and customer support.

Much of the focus has been on creating competitively priced, reliable and very high-spec power trolleys like the ProTour, and the UltraV with a UV sensor built into the handle. But the design of these premium motorised models has also allowed the brand to borrow the same frame construction and incorporate it into the Push 2.0 three-wheeled push trolley that stands head and shoulders above similar non-motorised trolleys on the market.

It’s lightweight aircraft grade aluminium frame means that the Push 2.0 weighs in at just 4.8kg for starters, perfect for those choosing to push rather than power their way around the course. Then there’s a handy, good-sized, insulated zip-up bag that sits where the motor and gearbox would be on PowerBug’s motorised models, allowing plenty of space for drinks, assorted golfing bits and pieces and even a rain jacket.

An easily activated footbrake sits just below the storage bag, while the real beauty of sharing the same frame construction as the power trolleys is that PowerBug’s full range of accessories – such as GPS and device holders, umbrella holders and a comfortable padded seat - is also fully compatible with the Push 2.0.

When you add in Torque Control bag supports that prevent your bag twisting on the frame, easy roll performance from the stylish Sports Wheels and a superbly thought-out folding system that takes the frustration out of assembling and packing away your trolley, the Push 2.0 really is the king of the three-wheeled push trolleys.

The PowerBug Push 2.0 is available in either a black or white gloss finish and retails for £99. It comes with a reassuring full 12-month warranty.
