CaddyCell offering three year guarantee on batteries

By: | Mon 02 Mar 2015

CaddyCell, makers of the LiFePO4 lithium golf trolley battery are now offering a full 'no quibble, no small print' three-year guarantee - starting today.

Caddy Cell explain that, unlike many battery and trolley brands, who offer battery warranties that diminish in value - sometimes leaving the consumer up to 85% out of pocket - they will offer a full and free repair/replacement in the event of a battery manufacturing fault.

Derek Richford, managing director of CaddyCell sole distributor, Golfstream, said: “I am delighted to show our faith and confidence in this superb battery.

"I hate small print guarantees that are offered by our competitors and believe our deal is clear, straight forward and overall honest - a fantastic deal for the golfer.

"We have sold this battery in the UK and Europe for nearly five years with negligible issues and a whole host of delighted customers. So offering a 'no quibble, no small print' guarantee is the right thing to do."

The Caddycell range of high performance LiFePO4 lithium golf batteries from Golfstream will carry the three-year “no small print” full guarantee from today March 2nd .

CaddyCell golf trolley batteries available in three sizes – 18, 27 and 36 hole. The guarantee is against manufacturing fault, or faulty material, and is for three full years - not diminishing over time.

Added Richford: "Our advice to golfers buying a lithium trolley battery is two fold: firstly check that it is the 'top of the range LiFePO4 battery (not the basic Lithium Ion) and secondly read the warranty they are offered very carefully.

"In many cases with other brands, in the event of a fault in three years they won't get a free of charge replacement - there is in effect a penalty fee and they could pay up to half the price of a replacement.

"CaddyCell has bucked that trend. We won't penalise golfers if a battery fails in three years. They'll get a replacement without having to pay a penny."

CaddyCell LiFePO4 Lithium batteries are available to the trade from Golfstream, while golfers can buy safe from all good golf outlets and www.golfstream.co.uk.
