Sometimes we all just take ourselves too seriously. Come on, admit it. If you haven't thrown a wobbly on the course 
yourself, you have certainly played with people who have.
At its worst, boorish behaviour on the golf course is downright rude.
Nobody wants to play golf with a grown man (or woman) who curses and swears when things don't go as planned, or who throws a club after a poor shot.
These people should remember that they took up golf because it was fun. And it really is fun. What could be better than spending three or four hours in the open air, with the birds twittering (unless you are Colin Montgomerie,
of course), the sun shining, the smell of freshly-cut grass in the air, in the company of people you like?
