Sorenstam chops off finger tip - tweets picture

Former World No.1 and Solheim Cup star Annika Sorenstam has had a rather nasty mishap in the Kitchen while cooking with friends. She was apparently cutting some chicken when she chopped the end of her finger off which has since been stitched up and according to Sorenstam is " healing nicely".

Sorenstam is one of the most successful female players of all time with over 80 worldwide victories and 10 majors. She stepped away from the game in 2008 to concentrate on family life, but still makes regular appearances for her equipment sponsor Callaway Golf who she signed a 4 year contract extension with in 2012.
